Third defendant jailed
PITTSFIELD — The last of three men responsible for the 2009 beating and robbery of a 20-year-old in Great Barrington pleaded guilty in Berkshire Superior Court on Tuesday and was given nine months in the Berkshire County Jail & House of Correction.

UN adds four more sites to heritage list
New York, Jun 29 : The United Nations has added cultural sites in Ukraine, Mongolia, France and Nicaragua to the World Heritage List, closing out this year’s selection with a total of 25 sites, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) reported on Tuesday.
