 I’m starting to lose hope. My husband is addicted to pot. After months of negotiation, he finally agreed to enter a drug rehab and recieve treatment. The thing is, I don’t think any program works for him. He just finished his second treatment program and I don’t think it made any changes. He still smokes pot. Do I have to ask him to enter another drug rehab? Do I have to finally give up on him? Jul 06

Meth destroys your brain, body, and mind… It can make you so delirious that you will fu*k your own mom… Cocaine has destroyed the lives of millions and millions of people… Opium/Pain Meds/Heroin causes EVERYONE from homeless crack heads to soccer mom’s to just destroy their own lives and abuse their kids… We have THOUSANDS of years of Opium Abuse… about 100 years of coke abuse… 50(?) years of amphetamine abuse… People just dropping dead in the streets from using these substances… Yet generation after generation, we find a brand new crop of retards to get addicted and ruin their lives and the lives of their families… Hell… Just look at Alcohol Abuse and Addiction… Husbands beating wives and mothers abusing children… All because they are driven from sanity thanks to a dangerous drug that WE ALL KNOW IS DANGEROUS AND ADDICTIVE yet is in almost every home in America… How is it that we can know the dangers so thoroughly and yet continue to fall victim to their addiction? The only thing about this is I like to go out with my friends on weekends and drink, I do not eat any fatty foods while out but I believe the drinking is still having a huge effect on my weight. I know people who have suffered years and years like 20 years of Alcoholism at least. Almost everyday drinking in excess. And they seem like smart people.
