Question by Solomon: Does anyone know of a free, or cheap, non faith based, non 12 step, meth addiction treatment program?
With all the hype about meth addiction and it’s evils you would think it would be easy to find help. Not so far.
I have been looking for a free, or cheap, non faith based, non 12 step meth addiction outpatient program in the Phoenix Metro area. Something with counselling and medical supervision would be ideal. I cannot afford to not be working since I am self employed. I need to quit, and want to be clean. The cycle must be broken. Does anybody know how to help?

This person lives in Columbus, Ohio and been trying to get help for several months. Person lost job has no money or insurance and is becoming very depressed. Please help… can find only out patient counseling which is not working.

I have a family member checking into a 3-5 day rehab program to treat alcoholism and a perscription drug addiction. I have never heard of a program this short and I am uncertainof its effectivness. Will it help?

Question by liz g: Does the alcohol and drug treatment center at Clear Lake Regional in the Houston area use the 12 step program?
I know someone going there and I was wondering if she is going to be introduced to the 12 step program.

I believe all alcohol or drug rehabs use the 12 step program as part of their criteria. Everyone that I know that has been in any of these programs, the 12 steps were used along with an AA or NA book. They did other things too but yes if I was going to bet, I would that she will be exposed to this program. Ur a good friend. Wishing U the best.

Hi, please let me know about any 1-6 month drug rehab programs preferably in Florida or the southeast USA that rehabilitates addicts, specifically oxycontin. My brother is only 19 and needs treatment ASAP. Also, I am looking for something low cost / free / income based as I can only come up with about -3k. Any and all free ones anywhere in the country you know about would also be great. Thanks for the help.

He needs more than once a month. Maybe insurace would help like a 30 day program or something. I would call the Department of Corrections in your state and ask them. It all depends on the state you are in. Maybe call Intervention? They will pay your way! Good luck! There are a few in AZ, some in California, lots in Colorado, etc.
