Part 1 of 3. This original footage is taken from Super8 film taken in the Philippines in 1976 and 1977. Ian Gawler is perhaps Australia’s most famous recovered cancer patient. As his wife of 2 weeks, I accompanied him to the Philippines 12 March 1976. He had end stage cancer (secondary osteogenic sarcoma) and was clearly dying when we left Australian shores. Radiation, a stringent diet and intensive meditation had not brought the results we hoped for and his pain was more of issue than the disease itself. Thanks to the healers, ONE MONTH LATER – he had gained 7 kg and he was pain free (morphine could not help his pain prior to our departure). Although not cured – a major turning point occurred during this trip. He crossed an important bridge in recovery…he transformed from a man dying from cancer to a man living with it. Make up your own mind about this phenomena As a vet and vet nurse we saw many surgical procedures that could not be explained so view with an open mind; remembering that many people we saw were healed of their illness. If this is so, scientifically speaking; what is going on here? Trance, positive placebo response, hypnotism or ? Ian’s remission was complex (see video on You Tube titled: Grace, Grit and Gratitude.) but without taking this first vital step; he would not have survived to achieve his remission June 1978.
