Drug Rehabilitation that works

I never have trouble getting to work and my marriage does not seem to suffer. I drink quite a lot. I never drink and drive. I never feel hung-over. I don’t feel like there are short term effects but maybe long term effects?

Opinions?

It’s usually 1/2 a bottle a night, sometimes more. Is this considered alcoholism? Are there any long term negative effects of doing this? NOTE – I NEVER get in a car after drinking the wine. I go to sleep. Thanks.

Sleater-Kinney’s last performance, on August 12th, 2006, at the Crystal Ballroom in their hometown of Portland, Oregon. Story of my past life – this “friend” ganked a – lets just say a lot – of crack, and came running to my “crib” with the gang in pursuit. They broke into my place with AK-47′s drawn and started looking in all my rooms for this “friend.” This a partial story of that night. About one year later I put down the life and got “clean and sober.” When the cops finally came to my apartment with 24 warrants, I looked at the one cop and said “it sure took you all long enough…” I was actually relieved. I’ve been “clean and sober” for 16+ years now….
