We broke up once before and got back together. now a year and a half later. I need to get away. He’s not a bad person just an alcoholic. Every night he becomes wasted, he pees on furniture, trashes the house, he’s also bi polar. I’ve asked him to leave, and he says that he’ll look for a place but he never does, he just manipulates the emotions and snakes back in. I’m emotional drained and I just want him gone. He won’t leave. He’s acting out of love and doing what he thinks is right, it just coming from a warped perception. The thing that sucks is that we just moved out of state, and just signed a year lease. I cannot afford it by myself. He already told me that he does not want to pay for anything. I thought about leaving, but all my furniture is mine. what do I do

You should join Al-Anon….it helps family members deal with the alcoholic in their family…..do this for you and your son.

Pakistan is struggling with the highest number of drug addicts in the world, according to medical authorities there. Officials have said there are at least five million people using heroin, opiates, or other mind altering substances across the country. The United Nations office on drugs and crime estimates around 40 per cent of Afghanistan’s heroin and morphine goes through Pakistan, and some of that is used by the more than 600000 Pakistani opiate abusers. Nai Zindagi, or New Life in English, is the country’s biggest rehabilitation programme. Every day it helps around 22000 addicts across Pakistan. It gives clean needles to stop the spread of HIV, advises on health issues and gives addicts the chance of getting clean. Al Jazeera’s Alan Fisher reports from Bara koh in Pakistan.
I’m 16 and my doctors recently diagnosed me with cirrhosis of the liver which is something i thought you could only get from to much alcohol. Does anyone know how you can get this without alcohol? I’ve never had a drink before but my doctors say it looks like ive been drinking heavily for the last 20 years.
The Scale & Non Scale Victory Challenge came to an end. It started on 2009 Dec 29th and today 2010 Mar 1st I crossed the finish line. I am lucky! What a beautiful finale! Now….moving forward…NGU (Never Give Up) is the next step. I started it on Monday 2010 Feb 22nd so basically a week past already. Will let you know how it went on Wednesday…cause today TSNSVC has a high priority in my heart!
As I say in the video I have never been drunk or high in my entire life. I love being clean and I am hoping to meet others who likewise have never been intoxicated by chemical substances. I am not looking for people who have recovered from addiction. Just those who never have been intoxicated from the start. If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t even comment. I will delete all unpleasantness and block you from further comment.

I’ve been using crystal meth for 8 years and ive been in 8 rehabs i go to meetings and have a sponsor.But in the back of my mind i still want to use .I want to stop for good any suggesstions
