Question by NorthernCA/FL: Recovery from alcoholism. I go to more meetings than he does. Is that dangerous?
I have 18 months, he has three years. He was a drug addict as well (me, too–speed, but primary alcohol). In the beginning, we talked all the time about our program, our meetings, sponsors, Higher Power, etc. It has been five months that we have been seeing each other. He is also working nights, and going to school part time. I have noticed that he goes to a meeting a week, and is pretty cynical about the “sappy” people in AA, who “hide in the program.” I am one of the sappy ones…AA saved my life.

Question by DJ J.B.: How many people are REAL RAVERS and have been for 7 years or more and likes being sober at raves?
The reason i’m asking is cause well i’ve been in the rave scene since i was 13 and now i’m a DJ and all these things but i use to do the drugs hardcore. Now i think its stupid to do drugs but i still have an awsome time at raves especially now when i’m dj’ing at them. What do you guys think. Let me know

Answer by Jason H
I don’t know any ravers, real or fake. Raves must be extremely exclusive and underground, because I’ve never even heard about one, and I’ve been friends with some pretty hard-core users. I mean, I know they exist.. I’ve just never heard of one.
