He has had most of the complications in the last year, bleeding varices that were banded last fall, he still drinks, he sleeps most of the time, he has ascites and edema which the Dr. just put him on a diuretic to see if that will reduce the fluid. He has had bouts of Hepatic Encephalopathy also, but no signs of that now. He is a severe alcoholic, 56 years old and cannot/won’t quit drinking, although he does go for some days now without alcohol because he is too sick to drink. He is not a candidate for a transplant, so don’t mention that to me. I would like to know what the dying process consists of with cirrhosis and if the kidneys always fail first. I want specific days or weeks or months of his likely survival please from someone who may have gone through this. Do they all go into a coma before they die? Since he just started the diuretic Hydrochlorithiazide we don’t know if it will relieve the fluid buildup or not, but the Dr. did not recommend paracentesis for him.
My husband has alcohol liver cirrhosis and is in the nursing home, he was diagnosed 2 months ago. He has been in and out of the hospital. All does is sleeps most of the day and is confused most of the time. His muscles seem to be deteriorating. He has his good days and bad days. The bad days scare me cause he sleeps all day and and is really confused and his belly gets hard and enlarges. He also is on dialysis with kidney failure, just a couple of days where is shunt is, it bled for a couple of days. And one day it wouldn’t stop bleeding, they tried everything they could and they finally got it to stop by putting stitches and burning the tear since the blood wouldn’t clot. I just want to know how long he has left cause the doctor doesn’t tell us anything but he said he’d tried everything and they’re nothing else he can do? I wish he would tell us the truth us something instead of hiding everything from us instead of just that. Can someone please answer my questions?
Guns N Roses live inn Chicago durring the Use Your Illusion world tour.Rose and his LA Guns bandmate Tracii Guns formed Guns N’ Roses in March 1985. The band was a merger of LA Guns and Hollywood Rose, and featured musicians who had played for one or both groups, including Ole Beich and Duff McKagan. The band debuted at the Troubadour in Hollywood and proceeded to play the LA circuit, eventually building a fan following and attracting the attention of several record companies.[18][19] The lineup eventually solidified with Rose on vocals, Slash on lead guitar, Izzy Stradlin on rhythm guitar, Duff McKagan on bass and Steven Adler on drums. Guns N’ Roses was signed to Geffen Records in 1986 and released a four-song EP, Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide, on their own label, UZI Suicide, in December of that year. The band’s major label debut album, entitled Appetite for Destruction, was released in the United States on July 21, 1987. The record had a slow start, selling only 500000 copies in the first year of its release.[20] However, fueled by relentless touring and the mainstream success of the single “Sweet Child o’ Mine”, Appetite for Destruction rose to the #1 position on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States in the fall of 1988. To date, Appetite for Destruction ranks as the fourth best-selling debut album in the United States, has been certified 15x platinum by the RIAA, and has sold over 27 million copies.[21][22] With the success of Appetite for Destruction and its …
Okay you “HUMPYMANIACS” (especially you,Marilyn) here is a 2-fer from one of my favorite Engelbert LPs, “Sweetheart” from 1971. There is not a bad track on this whole LP and these 2 songs are 2 of my favorites. I always thought “Santa Lija” should have been issued as a single. It was overseas but the US got “When There’s No You” as the next single instead. “WTNO” is a great single and the B side is the non LP track “Stranger Step Into My World”. You can’t get much better than that. “Live And Just Let Live” was written by Paul Anka. Since you all seem to like these obscure LP tracks that I have been posting, I’ve decided to go thru my Engelbert library and find some of the rarest and most forgotten tracks and post them for all to rediscover. There are so many great tracks that have seemed to have gotten lost over the years because they only remained on vinyl and rarely if ever appeared on an obscure import CD. These songs are truly worthy of rediscovery and as long as you all enjoy them, I will continue to post them. (Don’t hyperventilate Marilyn!) I’m gonna stick to mainly to the Parrot releases as the later stuff is alot more common and there is a ton of it already on youtube ENJOY!!

Step Up Lyrics : Watch as the room rocks Mentally moonwalk Mixed media slang Banging in your boom box verbal violence Lyrical stylist In a time when rock hip hop rhymes are childish You cant tempt me with rhymes that are empty Rapping to a beat doesnt make you an emcee With your lack of skill and facility Youre killing me And a DJ in the group just for credibility I heard that some of you are getting help with your rhymes Youre not an emcee if someone else writes your lines And rapping over rock doesnt make you a pioneer Cause rock and hip hop have collaborated for years But now theyre getting randomly mixed and matched up All after a fast buck and all the tracks suck So how does it stack up? None of its real You want to be an emcee youve got to study the skill Who can rock a rhyme like this? Bring it to you every time like this? [2x] Step, step up, step, step up So you pick up a pen and write yourself a new identity But mentally you dont have the hip hop energy With a tendency to make up stories Sounding like the only hip hop youve heard is top 40 And your record company is completely missing it All the kids are dissing it for not being legitimate So in a battle you can’t hack it React with whack shit And get smacked with verbal back flips Get your ass kicked by fabulous battle catalysts It’s taken decades for emcees to establish this Youre new to hip hop and welcome if your serious But not on the mic Leave that to the experienced (Using the waves of sound the true …
