Gurdaspur (Punjab), Aug 27 (PTI) Police recovered 700gms of heroin having a value of Rs four crore in international market and arrested three persons in connection with the seizure in this border district.

Think about it.

Cigarette companies are charged with marketing to under-aged consumers. Alcohol companies do this. Remember Spuds the party dog? How about wine coolers, and hard lemonade? Aren’t those sweet drinks appealing to kids?

Knowingly marketing an addictive harmful substance. Ever hear of Alcoholism? Cirrhosis of the liver?

Controlling and manipulating the content of the addictive substance in their products? Brewers and distilleries have been doing that for centuries.

Could this be the next big class action suit?
Justo. I see your point. But people have to eat. You can live your whole life without smoking or drinking. Secondly, if a food product isn’t toxic it’s legal. Alcohol is toxic and in large enough amount it can kill you.
