Rose and his LA Guns bandmate Tracii Guns formed Guns N’ Roses in March 1985. Story of my past life – this “friend” ganked a – lets just say a lot – of crack, and came running to my “crib” with the gang in pursuit. They broke into my place with AK-47′s drawn and started looking in all my rooms for this “friend.” This a partial story of that night. About one year later I put down the life and got “clean and sober.” When the cops finally came to my apartment with 24 warrants, I looked at the one cop and said “it sure took you all long enough…” I was actually relieved. I’ve been “clean and sober” for 16+ years now….
