Drug Rehabilitation that works

Can you tell me your reasoning behind why you think this way? Thank you ahead of time for your help with this )

so i’m starting to drink on a regular basis. nothing excesive at this point. anyway, my dad was a bit of an alcholic and one of my close friends is constantly warning me that i have a hire risk of becoming one myself if i start/keep drinking. is he right?

Also, can someone very briefly explain the threshold and interaction effect as it relates to developmental psych?

I’m definately not a alcoholic, I’m asking for somebody else very close to me.
Not really sure if this is the right section or not.

I’ve heard people say alcoholism runs in the family and they’re more genetically prone to being an alcoholic.
