From the multitude of groms that are always around, to “Layback” Mike Pugh, an ex-pro skater and snowboarder, who struggles to stay clean and sober after losing his best friend to drug addiction, to “Uncle” Chris Keet who despite a good case of adult ADD, runs Santa Barbara’s premier surf school, Surf Happens, and is trying to coach Cousteau to the winner’s circle.
