Hypnosis offers a very powerful intervention for drinking problems, as it does for most addictive targets such as food, nicotine, and prescription and street drugs. The normal treatment process starts with a good intake interview, usually 80 to 90 minutes in length. I like to take a comprehensive history before we start the hypnosis so that I know we are headed down the right path. Most people struggling with addiction problems have tried to quit many times and tried many ways to stop on their own. Therefore, I don’t want hypnosis to become another tried and failed intervention, because I have seen it work so many times if it is applied properly. With most people who are amenable to hypnotherapy, you can tell if it is working within the first three to five sessions, and many times, people have noticeable relief after the first session. After that, the sessions can either be stretched out to a maintenance level of once every two to four weeks. Video Rating: 5 / 5
For my numerous impostors I thank you for your efforts to defame and discredit me. Your actions have failed miserably and you have energized the Anti-AA community. In the spewing of your venom you have only proven my points as well as the still valid points of other Anti-AA You Tubers correct. You have proven that AA and groups like it are religious hate organizations that will do and say anything to suppress criticism. Anything but address the criticism. Over the last month we have seen effort after effort by AA proponents to discredit or defame those who speak against the AA/ 12step cult and they have failed each time. In your efforts to discredit us you have only created a multi-national Anti-AA juggernaut; that generations of future AA cult members will have to work through for the group as a whole to survive. Gone is the ability to excuse failed logic and a program that does not work away. It is your own hate and poor performance in discourse that is now killing off your organization. Make no mistake; the days of AA and 12 step rule over the treatment industry are numbered. This was the very reason why there was a Tradition 10 in case you did not notice. It is the hate and unwillingness to address the issues from AA proponents that have made this all possible. No amount of AA or 12 step apologetics can repair this damage. It is this outside issue that will now unravel the lies, deceptions, fabrications, and hostility that comes from AA and 12 step proponents.
Please give me specifics (bioligical) on why you think it is a disease, and why people claim they have no power over it?
That would be *biological*, not that other word I mis-spelled up there.
