I don’t really get what the medications are for.

Can’t they do it by sheer will power and going cold turkey?

im trying to think of a reason that i will be positive for methamphetamine so can i say that i take adderal?

I’m 17. I didn’t grow up in an abusive or broken home. My family didn’t abuse me. But I can say that my parents show me no affection even though I know that they do care about me.

My ex-boyfriend used to abuse me and I had NO clue that he was. I just viewed it as cockiness. He didn’t physically hurt me but he verbally and emotionally abused me and helped lower my self esteem and make me feel ugly. He wore me down. He pressured me and manipulated me into sex. I still feel depressed over what he said and did to me.

Not until I broke up with him and asked questions on here or tell people about what he did to me, did I realize that I was abused.

In my mind, if he was such a bad guy and was abusive then why did he have so many normal looking friends that go to good universities and come from rich, strict families? Or, if he was such a bad guy then why does he have so many pictures of him smiling with his big family? He’s friends with smart, geeky people. He didn’t do drugs or have a criminal record. He didn’t hang around meth addicts that sold drugs and robbed places. Both of his best friends are normal, regular college guys that are in relationships.

He came off as a normal, regular guy but with a huge secret – he’s very abusive and nobody knows.

Seriously. I know people who have suffered years and years like 20 years of Alcoholism at least. Almost everyday drinking in excess. And they seem like smart people. Even though what they did in the past was stupid. They don’t seem like they are stupid. They think and act perfectly fine.

My daughter came home and she has obviously been using Methamphetime. She is delusional and thinks someone wants to kill her. I have already taken her to UCLA Harbor and they released her the next day and said it’s from the methamphetamine. They DID NOT give her anything to help. She has no insurance because she wont’ go to school or have a job so I can’t help her there with my job either. Can someone give some advice?

They remember a whole different planet thing they saw ; while under the influence. And people accually believe it, even though it does kinda synchronize but what how for. In this day and age you will be told : You have way too much time on your hands. Do people still get stoned or take acid to watch movies or tv shows? You dont hear about it much anymore. People can smuggle drugs into concerts, but the other thing. Maybe you dont hear about it much anymore because society has changed. Maybe because the good old fashioned video stores are not there, they went out of business? Something in society has changed. People in there teens and 20s till stopping, used to get together-anywhere-just to get high. What great friends! They are not your friends, they are drug buddies. After the drugs are gone, growing up, or something else happens they are not there anymore. Cool to get together at your house with understanding parents. To get together with friends somewhere else-sometimes to watch movies-or out in public to do drugs. Another group takes over, even if they step up police. But guess what; all those other nights, the cops were not there. Funny how in the old days there were classic VHS videostores …
