Rhythm City Inc. is a non-profit youth outreach organization dedicated to todays youth, who derive from culturally diverse backgrounds. We enhance their lives through the artistic expression of the performing and creative arts. The program is designed to develop well-rounded young dancers by providing them with rich increased fitness, learning, and social skills through the artistic experience of Hip-Hop dance. Rhythm City uses Hip-Hop to empower the youth in their communities as an alternative to drugs, violence, and destructive influences. The companys intent is to cultivate the hip-hop dance form and to teach it with the same dedication and respect commanded by other classic dance forms. Rhythm City believes that by validating the dance created by kids on the street, we are validating the kids as well, and at the same time, providing a positive example for the youth to follow. The Program is open to children ages 9 and up, who have demonstrated strong interest in the performing arts. The core curriculum consists of 10 to 12 dance technique classes per week. Supplemental classes vary according to individual program requirements. The structure of the program consist of intermediate and advanced divisions which offers intensive training that focuses on the foundation of movements common to all styles of hip-hop dance. LONG WAIT! Sorry guys =\ This was supposed to be up like 12 days ago… I’m very busy with my senior project and when writing these episodes I get writers block…. NEW EPISODE! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! When I posted episode 14, most of you guys made me angry… You guys got very angry with the ending which caused me to get angry… I didn’t like what was written in most comments which gave me two decisions. 1.)
