www.TheNico0000.com When I was 14 or 15, my father was a Alcoholic. He can out drink anybody. When my father got his paycheck on friday, he wouldn’t come home until Monday when he was broke. Sometimes we didn’t have any food. My father Alcoholic problem , destroyed our family. With all the verbal abuse and my father not coming home with the paycheck, it was bad. But I still love my father, this went on until I turned 18.

Adam Churchman grew up in a divorced family, and struggled in school at an early age. In grade six Adam was diagnosed with ADD, this alienated him from the rest of his classmates. Eventually Adam found a group of peers that excepted him, and quickly led him to drugs and alcoholism. Adam eventually found himself addicted to these drugs. Adam later went for drug treatment and once clean went off to college. While attending college he attended church one Sunday and found Jesus Christ!!

Both my parents had alcoholic fathers, though my parents were not alcoholics themselves, they still carried some of the dysfunction (for example distant father, depressed mother that acted like she was her children’s daughter)… and I’m trying to find that book that talks about breaking that alcoholism behavior cycle…

Viewers learn the strategies necessary to create a healthy environment, find positive support, overcome shame and guilt, rebuild self-esteem, identify triggers, avoid relapse, and ensure that core beliefs and values align with positive goals.The content educates clients in three primary concepts: recovery, cognitive skills, and life skills. This learning jump starts clients into addiction treatment by providing them with a foundation of core knowledge essential to success. Three client workbooks are also available as part of the Hazelden Community Corrections Program.
