Question by mscarlybobarlysmom: time for a change? Recovered alcoholic boss after one year is now is disarray.?
worked for a company for 10+ yrs and assistant to the president of the company. After his one year aniversary of soberity, the disarray in business applications is causing my job to become varied in job description. I’m not getting much help or answers. You can’t say anything about it, but it’s not helping #1 for the work environment when 75% of my day is calming those who don’t understand the scattered thoughts from him and the other 25% trying to resolve issues on my own, hoping I’ve made the right choices because I can’t get answers. She disapears and takes many “mental health” days and works after hours so there is no human contact and thoughts can be clearer. Should I stick with it, move on, say something or just keeping on doing what I need to do to keep the business a float on my end? How do I know this???? The wife of a recovered alcoholic (I know everyone has a different experience), but it’s like living with my husband after his first year. I LOVE my job, but need my sanity.

Answer by concise_pear thats the question you have to ask yourself.
is it worth losing your sanity for a job?
are you being overworked?
It might not be worth it in the end.
ultimately, its something you have to either change or live with, and it sounds as if you need to make that decision soon
All the best

Answer by Lady_K I would suggest talking with your boss and asking for some clear cut directions that would help them be able to keep thing smoothe. Tell them exactly what the problems are WITHOUT blaming them for those problems. Come to a solution together and start the process from there.
Fighting Nomad in Nomad’s Requiem Quest. It was a bit easier than what I thought. This was my first real attempt. Did a few tests before. Song: Falling apart by Zebrahead Edit: Whoops… Spelt Nomad wrong in the video —– Tips if you want to kill Nomad —– — About Nomad — Nomad isn’t easy to kill (at least for lower levels). Deflect/protection prayers doesn’t work against him. He will heal himself from 1/4 hp to 1/2 hp two times. He use 5 different attacks: * His first attack is a normal magic attack. I’m not sure but I don’t think magic defence armour helps against this attack. This attack will always reach you, even if you are in a corner of the room and can’t see Nomad. This attack is almost as effective as Kalphite Queen’s magic attack. * Nomad will throw out mines before he does his second attack. This attack always hits 75 on yout (elysian and divine spirit shields remove some of the damage). It take a few seconds for him to charge the attack so you can run behind a pillar (make sure to not step on the mines) to avoid getting hit. * Nomad will teleport himself and 3 other Nomads around you. They can all attack you at the same time. You will have to attack them until you find the right Nomad. * Nomad will teleport you a few steps away from him and then Ice Barrage you and you will freeze and can’t move for 20 seconds. Nomad will charge his attack for 15-20 seconds. Make sure to eat up to your maximum hitpoints or higher. This attack always hit 1 less than …
My brother asked his employer for a leave of absence so he could go to rehab for alcoholism (forget that his employer supposedly has an open door policy and programs to help its employees with problems without any reprocussions), his boss responded by firing him. Im pretty sure this is a violation of his ADA rights, but would like to know exactly what laws are being broken and the best way to handle the situation, as my brother cannot afford legal consult.
