Question by karen: Will Rehab actually help someone with a strong drug addiction?
And how does this process work and is it expensive? I need it for someone to get themselves checked in. I’m worried their life is at risk!

Rehab works for majority of people as long as they WANT to get better. They have to WANT to cure themselves otherwise it wont work. Rehab is just an aid it isn’t a miracle. I am not quite sure on pricing but if they want to get better its worth every penny. A lot of people are in and out of Rehab because the first time or two they don’t WANT to get better. The people around them WANT them to get better but not them.

Malaria is a disease; alcoholism is a behavior.

Might be a stupid question, but how do you get through to a person with alcoholism to stop his denial and admit it and get the help he needs if he wants to sustain our relationship, which he claims is so important to him and cannot face life without me, cause i am battling emotionally and mentally to break it off with him, but seems so bleak

I’m trying to find an alcoholic drink that will taste good to me, I’m 22 and have never been able to find anything alcoholic that I really liked the taste of, and whenever I go out with friends I’m usually the only one who’s not really drinking (or drunk eventually), which kinda sucks sometimes. Can anyone recommend anything for me? If it helps, I like soda a lot, like Coca Cola, 7up, Sprite, Mountain Dew, etc. so maybe something simple with soda mixed in I would like.
