Come on Joel, put UR self in somebody else’s shoes. Look at all sides of the story. U have so much potential but U get caught up in all the addict drama. Same thing with people they call a ‘dry drunk’. They may not be drinking but they crave all the drama. They continue with the addictive behavior. Think. What did Y’all do on the guys1st day? U ostracized him made him think he was cray! U guys rejected him before U even knew him. Like a teenage clique. Picking on the new guy like mean girls. Sad

That’s a hoot, Joel! Every time I’ve been in settings like that, there’s always one that stands out like ‘that guy’. After 27 years ‘around the rooms’, I’m finally beginning to see them as ‘sick people’. I’ve been ‘that guy’ a million times. Used to stay there for days at a time. I still get tempted to be ‘that guy’ once in a while, but if actually go there, I want out pronto (hurts too much). You’re right. ‘That guy’ needs ‘extra help’ somewhere else. @Antifaith29 thatsfucked up, never has happened to me before. i guess it depends if the speaker is a complete asshole or not tho. usually people at meetings are very supportive and caring no matter what your DOC is.
