Question by Acerah: If someone is addicted to drugs and cleans themselves up…?
…what would happen if they were to take the drugs again years later? (5+ years) I’m talking in terms of tolerance. I know that they wouldn’t be able to handle the same high dose as before since they’re no longer sensitized, but what would it take for them to get high?

I guess the question basically is: would the dose needed to get high be the same as what someone would take their first time using the drug, or higher/lower?

the person will always be addicted to the drug, even if they haven’t had taken it in YEARS.

i know people that stopped smoking 30+ years ago and admit that they still crave it

the person will get just want more of the drug, and the addiction will be another living hell.

  1. MAGIC MAN Says:

    NO

  2. Greg Says:

They would most likely take more of the drug in order to get that same experience or possibly move onto a different drug
that’s why there are drugs called gateway drugs

to the first user: it’s not possible to be addicted and not take it
From what I remember,an addiction is when uses the substance thinking that they won’t be able to live without it
