MaximsNewsNetwork: 05 July 2010 – UNTV: Kiribati, Pacific Islands – In Kiribati, one of the least developed Pacific island nations, alcohol abuse is pushing people to practice corporal punishment on young children; UNICEF and the government of Kiribati are working together to establish routine birth registration immediately after a child is born. It is customary in Kiribati for women to take in children in need and when children are subjected to violence, they are now encouraged to speak up. it’s insane how alcohol can gain control. Being clean for a year I started drinking socially with just one or two beers when I’d go out. 2 weeks ago I don’t know exactly what happened but something set me off on a 2 week binge. I wasn’t paying attention to how much I was drinking. it’s like I fell asleep for 2 weeks. I’m sober now for 4 days. and finally starting to feel normal. alcohol, is pure evil in a bottle. I cannot drink safely, it’s really impossible.

Alcohol can create some pretty painful conditions such as pancreatitis,bowel bleeding, cancer, and if young people drink, binge drinking sickness and death are common!

You young people think drinking is ok? Think again! There are so many diseases that are attributed to alcohol!

Alcohol is not good when you look at it from the negative side! Alcohol when consumed by young people is deadly as in binge drinking!
Alcohol when consumed with certain medications is deadly! When alcohol is consumed when operating a motor vehicle is deadly! Alcohol that is drunk by an alcoholic is deadly! Alcolhol is a corrosive! Alcohol eats healthy tissue and increases cancerous cells!
@padude64 Sorry for your loss. Just wondering objectively what your consider an alcoholic once a week once a month. I am trying to define it because i think it would be better to have a barometer to point to other then effecting your work relationships etc. Because so many alcoholics are successful and great workers and people.
