A judge has ordered rapper DMX to spend six months in a Phoenix jail for violating probation and to undergo a mental health evaluation. I really agree with you on the point of not attacking the users with criminal actions because of drug abuse. Way too many folks in prison for stuff like that and all that happens is more drug addiction. However, I think that honest, clear and factual education about drugs is the best deterrent. I also believe that we have got to get the legal drug pushers out of our schools. Good grief, someone fidgets and they get a prescription for amphetamines (Ritalin, Adderall, etc). Very bad example.
