I love him and my family and do not want to hurt them by telling them I am an addict. Please give me specifics (bioligical) on why you think it is a disease, and why people claim they have no power over it?
That would be *biological*, not that other word I mis-spelled up there.

If a person does illegal drugs they call them bums and no-good junkies, but if they pop a bunch of pills they get more sympathy and are not judged as much as people who do heroine, coke, etc. Why the double standard? Isn’t taking pills all the time more destructive then a person who smokes weed everyday or that occasionally does crack?
