I am just a casual drinker. However, every time I go home late, even if I’ve only drunk a small amount of tequila, my dad would already recite what seem to be an endless litany of sermons. As I am browsing the net today, I just want to ponder on the things my dad always says. His words motivate me to post this question.

The conclusion to the movie “Shackles” written by Quentin (Gamba) Tripp. *SYNOPSIS* There are many issues that are prevalent in this society today that are detrimental to the inhabitants of this country called America. The movie Shackles scratches the surface of some of these issues. Especially when it comes to the demoralizing issues of drugs and alcohol. The movie Shackles addresses the issue of drug abuse and distribution in a way that will give the viewer realistic insights to the realities of the drug culture in this society. The movie will tackle these issues in two ways. First, the viewer will get a first hand look at how the violence is escalated in a community that is infested with drugs and greed. Secondly, the viewer will get a book at how drug and alcohol addiction can destroy the potential development of a community and deteriorates the creativity and ambitions of addicted individuals. The movie Shackles also deals with the issue of school dropout. The movie focuses on some of the issues that youth use as excuses to drop out of school and, how the excuses can be eliminated so that the student can become successful and complete their educational goals. Other issues that the movie Shackles deal with are: spirituality, religion, white supremacy, racism, sexual relationships, self-hatred, reparations and etc. By showcasing these issues, Shackles gives the individual the opportunity to take a closer look at themselves.
