Once a hardworking family man, William Clough found himself in a place he never imagined he would be as an alcohol addiction and weight issues stripped him of everything he loved. His family, a lucrative career and home were gone and William was in serious need of a change. After hitting the bottom, William finally sought help for his addiction, took control of his weight and began getting his life back on track. In March 2008, William was referred to Goodwills computerized office skills training program by his DVR counselor. From the beginning, he hit the door running. William showed immense initiative, always had a positive attitude and was able to complete the program 5 weeks early. Since graduation, William has continued to push forward. He has obtained a position with Comcast as a customer service representative where he excels at all he does. At the heart and soul of all his success is his family. William has taken the first steps to repair his once broken relationships and strives to make up for lost time. Through it all, Williams dedication to himself and his family has given him the strength to begin a new, happier path. With a warm smile and new outlook on life, he continues to look forward and serve as an inspiration to all those he touches.
