Actually “D” is the answer. I use to run a Alcohol Abuse program while in the Army. For the bad one we started with inpatient detox which included counseling and a support group. The person was then released but continued with outpatient follow-up counseling and attendance with a support group such as Alcoholcs Anon..
There is no “treatment” for alcoholism. Real alcoholics are all beyond human aid.
