God bless 4 doing this, i’ve been on Meth for 3 years and the past year i’ve been doing a taper n 90-30mgs and i feel like “king” the mental aspect of it , i’ve missed my dose more than i can count on one hand and those days were hell (they say it lats 24hrs) i dunno i felt it after 12hrs .. i’m considering to get off as soon as i feel ready .. BUT I AM SOOO FUCKING SCARED! keep it up..
I’ve been taking 100mgs day for about 3 years now. I’m mainly concerned about getting off of Methadone not because of the physical aspects, but because of the mental. Although I was introduced to opiates because of a lower back injury, I wound up doing opiates off the street pretty much for the same reason I’m taking methadone now, for the mental boost it gives me. I’ve had severe depression most of my life as well as anxiety. I feel I’m easier to get along with and more at ease.

Skiman,its shit bigoted comments like yours that could cause someone already on the edge to really take their own life.The last 20ml is the hardest to get off and a lot of addicts panic at that point and go back to gear.Not coz they wanna get high but coz the fear & panic is just too much.When i did a detox I was more afraid of living than dying.I prayed for death to come as I felt I was going mad.

i was 12 when i had my firstloatab how ever you spell it but any ways i got so addicited i was takin lke maybe 10-20 by the time i was 15 year passes i missed alot school cuz i abused it so bad and but coming down off them methadone was my key next i’d wake up be jest fine.
hi i bn on mthadone for 12 years im 35 years old and every time iv tryd to come off it wen i get cut down to about 15/10mls thats wen i really start to struggle n maby go n use heroin again wen im down to 10mlss….im scared ill never get off this poison

yeah i agree, im only on 75 mgs and thats just anough to say no to using steet drugs…thats what i needed and its working great.
hey. This is my 2nd day going through a withdrawl. And boy is it hell. I’m addicted to the 10mg. methadone. Now when i first took this which was a year ago…..one 10mg got me high the whole day. Now I have to take atleast 9 to 10 whole pills just to get high but i rarely do that cuz well you should know shits expensive. I want to quit but i dont think im quite ready yet to be honest. I just cant wait til 2marow so i can buy some
I was a hard core addict and 70 or 80 mgs is good enough cmon even 120 if you over that much your getting it to get high cause my clinic doesn’t give more than 120mgs that as high as you can go i’m in Ontario Canada
ppl who are on 200mgs are methadone robots…thats just pathetic to be on that much.

i never said i wasnt still a hookt, im on methadone for pain too…i cant be trusted with oxycontin, i dont trust my self with oxy so the methadone is doing me great.

The ppl that have successfully have gotten of the methadone and opiod completely without any kind of maintenance or help. Congrats to you . You have beat the odds.
i have so much on the line its hard for me to detox completely. If i had 2 months of no jobs or any responsibilities in life where i could lay on the couch that would be great. Everyones different amd the methadone maintenance program can work if you are serious about it. But you have younger ppl coming in there for there addiction of 5 lortab 10s a day . HAHA, Which is a joke. But the clinics are getting out of hand and the sky is the limit . i know ppl that is already over the 200mg mark.
Ive been battling heroin and oxycontin and any opiod addiction since 99. Ive been going to a CRC ran clinic in indiana for about a year and a half. im 24 years old and im on 130 mg. I tried going down 1mg every other day and i did great til i got to 111mg and i started feeling like shit. My anxiety shot through the roof and it got where i couldnt go to work.
Great Video. You gave some good info for someone who might be new or maybe uneducated to this type of addiction. Also, I completely agree with you on the strength of doses VS. how long you’ve been dosing.
I removed makers comment by accident, sorry. I think some people are much better off on methadone than shooting dope or for people who have tried and failed multiple times to get off narcotics, I don’t like MMT for vicodin addicts or for people who haven’t tried to quit several times and failed. Then methadone is a viable option along as the dose doesn’t go sky high because in most cases, these mega doses cause people to be walking zombies.
i dont give a f*CK if you belive me or not MAKER6450,the reality is that i’m off that shit and you’re not,and as you continiue to lie yourself that you are making some kind of treatment with methadone or whatever thats the big lie because you are steel addict,so just go gold turkey for a couple of weeks,dont be a pussy,and the hole nightmare ends.
In the past the doses were to small, but a dose can only be to high if a person is monged so u have to watche them for first 3 days and supervise them.
any opiate is the same as far as seriousness.
I worry about armageddon situations.
U are right. I agree 100%. I’ve been on many years now and at $9/day its a bargain. I just can’t deal with cravings and all that. Methadone stopped my physical problems and allows me to live normally.I’m glad it works for you as well.
